Ok here is what you all have been waiting
for...unless you've been living under a rock. On
November 17th, 2006 the third Playstation game
console was released. The PS3 has the latest
features in technology, such as Blu-ray Disc. Blu-ray
technology offers the ultimate high-definition
experience, unless you have a black and white tv.
Blu-ray discs also hold more than five times the
storage room of a dvd, we're talking about 25GB on a
single-layer disc. On top of that the PS3 includes
HDMI, High-Definition Multimedia Interface.
In case
you are lost the HDMI provides an interface between any
compatible digital audio/video source, such as a
set-top box, a DVD player, a PC, a video game system
such as the PlayStation 3 or an AV receiver and a
compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such
as a digital television (DTV). HDMI supports any TV
or PC video format, including standard, enhanced, or
high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital
audio on a single cable. As if that's not enough to
make you want to e-mail Santa Claus...not that I
still believe in Santa Claus. PS3 also includes The
Cell Broadbrand Engine. Engineers from SCEI, Sony,
IBM, and Toshiba worked years to develop a
microprocessor at the top of its class. Some of the
first titles to be released on the PS3 are, NBA Live
'07, Lair and Heavenly Sword. So get the brand new
PS3 and be the ''Envy'' of all your friends.
Nintendo better watch out, soon Mario will be
scrubbing toilets at your local gas station.
